Goddamn it all. I made it right re: my transaction with sevin0seven. He even agreed that he was satisfied. I went beyond making it right because I felt very bad about the transaction.

Why in the name of all that's fair don't you let me have my positive mark instead of that longstanding negative mark? People can fix mistakes (and change their minds, but that's another story).

Please reevaluate the previous threads regarding my making amends with the transaction. I ask for decency and fairness. I did the decent (read: right) thing with what happened. Guys ... help me here.

It is sevin's call, and seeing as he just did the totals update and left it there, I'd guess you are stuck with it. The mark is a determination of the whole trading experience. Even though you made amends in the end, he still seems to think that the overall experience was negative.

If we had a "neutral" score, maybe he'd give you that mark. Hell, I'd have given you a "neutral" based on our little brouhaha, but decided just to cancel the -1 I left you and leave it at that. Since we don't have a neutral designation, and since he probably feels the overall transaction was closer to a -1 experience than a +1 experience, the mark stands as long as he wants it to.

That's not to say we can't override feedback if there is a clear abuse of the feedback system, but in this case I personally don't see it. You can certainly feel free to appeal to any of the other mods, as we all manage the BST forum (even if I started most of the sticky threads).

I can understand that perspective. A neutral score set would be interesting. Sevin can decide what he wants to do. It would be disappointing to think that going above and beyond the expected remuneration would gain no more traction than doing the bare minimum.

So long as folks know what I did to resolve the issue, hopefully they will feel comfortable with my +2 received since then and wheel and deal with little ol' me.
