OMG, pick it apart, have fun guys. The whole point of the thread was that I'm excited for these games coming out and wanted to share. But if you want to turn it into an argument over semantics, have at it.

I am tired of this arguement. Let those who choose to call Zelda an RPG or not call it whatever they want. But one point must be made even if it isn't an rpg or is enough people think it is that it should at least be mentioned in this list.ZeroAX wrote:Zelda?MrEco wrote: and another one isn't an RPG

^
Are any of those coming out in the States?
I'm not trying to take a shot at you, mind (I know how much the Tales thing pisses you off, rightfully so), I'm just curious.

Re: 2011: The Year of the Action-RPG
um, no. The reason it's called an RPG by some people, is because Nintendo themselves call it an RPG. It simply is not. In no way does it resemble any other RPG game ever made. It's an action adventure (with actual adventure gameplay) and puzzles.pepharytheworm wrote: I am tired of this arguement. Let those who choose to call Zelda an RPG or not call it whatever they want. Wow, is there really going to be a "Zelda is/isn't an rpg" argument? On racketboy? Never thought I'd see the day.

Why did you bring up that thread again? Just when I start too calm down about that disscussion, you bring up the link and I read it again.dsheinem wrote:We've already been down that road....CFFJR wrote:Wow, is there really going to be a "Zelda is/isn't an rpg" argument? @gamerforlife
I am proud that you weren't the one that made the "Zelda is not an RPG comment"
