And apologies for all the clutter, I really need to do some tidying up but who knows when I'll get around to that...

And since I can't resist posting it, some of my...other collection...

Thanks muchly.Flake wrote:It's a dandy collection. I would suggest three things:
- Get some twist ties or cable ties to tidy up the cordage.
- Get some more Gamecube representation in there - you look solid on all other fronts.
- Get some better beer if displaying cans is your thing.

Ouch, that's got to hurt. I've never had more than a couple games stolen from me at once. To lose most of a collection like that - yikes. Good luck building it back up.CatchFiveBats wrote: - Definitely weak in that department. Used to have a ton of Gamecube games but I had a bunch of things stolen in the process of moving a couple years ago. That's the only system I haven't really started working toward rebuilding....
Thanks, luckily at this point I've recovered and a bit more. I had just moved into a new place...first night there I noticed some things missing, then upon closer observation discovered that about 1/3 of my games (and many other things - books, DVDs, CCG decks I'd built, etc...) were gone. That was a while ago, so I've moved on, but I was traumatized at the time and ended up moving back in with my parents. Just didn't feel safe living in a place where I knew something like that had happened.Flake wrote:Ouch, that's got to hurt. I've never had more than a couple games stolen from me at once. One of the other stores sent a copy to the store I work at randomly. I guess they were just different-colored buttons you could replace the originals with. You can't see it in the picture, but it's got an orange d-pad too. They're shaped differently than the originals too, by just a little. Personally I think it ends up a bit worse because of it, actually...but still kind of interesting regardless.Flake wrote:In the bottom left of the picture showing your stacks, I see an NES controller with lime green buttons? What's the story behind that?
