yep, that GBA port is probably my favoriite GBA game of all time.Balasubbie wrote:SFII Super Turbo Revival(GBA): I'd rank it right beside the 3DS port of SFIV in terms of
playability, and that's not some hyperbolic repsonse to it surprising the hell outta me with its sheer fun factor, it's honestly a classy little remake.
Surprisingly tough though, take the Ken/Ryu time attack stage specifically, where you have to beat both of them in one round with one lifebar, and when you've done the near unimaginable, boom! Here comes Akuma to squat on that petulant sense of achievement and turd all over it.

Fixed it for you, chief! But seriously, SSFIV3D boggles the mind - I think we had maybe one or two instances of lag out of nearly 45 minutes of play. I don't understand how a handheld can have such good online game play.sevin0seven wrote:SSFIV3D. Brutally beat the hell out of Flake last night.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Got to play SSF43D at GameStop. 3D was kinda weird (looked more like a holographic cover than real depth), but the gameplay was nice. It does actually remind me of playing SSF2T:Revival on the GBA.

Sam Sho IV (NG MVS), 90 minutes, bout 30 matches - 50/50 split...against a 6yo, which sadly is par for the course.

I also tried out SSFIV3D at Game Stop last night. It was difficult to go back to shoulder buttons for SF. After over a decade of Saturn pads and Arcade sticks, it's just not very comfortable. And gods bless anyone who can make it work.
BUT...
I can see why everyone is picking this game up with the system. It's really that good. All of the characters are there, the graphics are great, the timing is Xbox 360 smooth. The 3D was pretty neat and I found myself comfortably playing with the slider halfway. I was angry when my wife forced me to put it down so that we could head to the grocery store.
