I guess, to be fair, all pastries are industrial food products. White flour, white sugar, shortening, these are all refined products that didn't exist that long ago. Still, there's a pretty big difference between a PopTart and a freshly made custard eclair.

Well yeah, cause custard is on a higher plane of existance from pop tart filling. If you made custard filled pop tarts they'd be amazing.
