Found a complete copy of Sega CD: Secret of Monkey Island

Is this a game worth having? Is it worth $25.00? It is complete with a pretty decent cardboard box, instructions, game disc and jewel case.

I've played both versions a bit.
I dunno if I would pay $25 for a boxed copy though.
Although, that was the older cardboard box style that is kinda hard to find in good condition.
Depends on how much of a collector you are. You probably won't find it in complete condition too often.

I am a fan of the Monkey Island games so I obviously will recommend that you play this and the other games in the series. As for the Sega CD version, I would probably do some research. If it does turn out to be a quality rendition and if you do want to play it on a console then go for it.

It was a pretty spot on conversion IIRC... I have never played it first hand, so my question would be are the wait times horrid. Its a game that will play identically on the PC as SCD
7800, Jaguar, NES2, SNES, GC, Wii, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, 3DO, NGPC

I've read that the load times are pretty long on the Sega CD version. Personally, I can tolerate slow load times on these older systems, I'm not very tolerant of them on newer systems however.

I only played the original Monkey Island on PC, but I thought it was a very fun game. Hopefully you enjoy yours too.
