Get the PAL version of ICO. Has NTSC 60hz mode and extra unlocks at the end. More info at my TEAM ICO signature link.

I guess it just depends on the gamer. I personally had no trouble at all with God Hand outside of one or two boss battles. Yet I wasn't able to beat God of War one two or three on anything but easy mode.

At God Hand, I can barely get to the second stage on normal difficulty. On easy, I make it half way and die. I don't know what it is, I clearly am doing something wrong. One of these days, I'll pop it in and learn how to play or die trying.

It's not like I don't want to like it. I love the style and sense of humor. The moves are really fun too, if I can pull them off. The problem is that I can't. People with similar tastes to mine have praised the game, so I have to give it another shot.

Well, it is hard for me to recommend just 5 games for the PS2, but do take a look at IGN's top 100 for PS2:

http://www.ign.com/top/ps2-games

And see what interests you; one thing for sure, the PS2 is not short on J-RPGs!

It's definitely hard, but there are a lot of tricks. The main thing that people seem to have trouble with is the sway mechanic. If you aren't using that to it's fullest, you're pretty much dead in the water.

so I'll be able to run it without patching it for NTSC? That's actually pretty awesome considering the PAL artwork is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the US art.

There's a trick to it, or do you mean people just don't seem able to use it well?

Not only the cover artwork, but features such as an unlock controlling Yorda. No patch needed. It defaults to PAL, so at the rolling first screen select 60hz. Be sure a memory card is plugged in, so next boot up will default to NTSC.

Just have to defeat the region lock either with a boot disc or HDAdvance.

I have Swap Magic. But I checked ebay, and it looks like the import is a lot more money.
