Virtual Boy Games on Nintendo 3DS
Do you guys think Virtual Boy Games would work on Nintendo 3DS? Virtual console downloads that are exclusive to 3DS. I'd check out a few I missed if I had 3DS and they did this.

I think it could be hard because the virtual boy needed it to be pitch black around your eyes to see the red colors.BurningDoom wrote:Do you guys think Virtual Boy Games would work on Nintendo 3DS? I think it's possible but I'd rather have color-enhanced remakes.

Hopefully considering technology is so much more advanced since the VB came out, they would be able to think of a way around this. If they did, it would certainly help me decide if I should buy a 3DS or not.Bradtemple87 wrote:I think it could be hard because the virtual boy needed it to be pitch black around your eyes to see the red colors.

I think it could be done. Whether it will be done is a different story. I doubt Nintendo will slap all of them on one 3DS card or put them on the VC. I can't imagine the demand being high enough.

That would be awesome if Virtual Boy games made it to the 3DS but it's hard to say if it will actually happen.

Re: Virtual Boy Games on Nintendo 3DS
Since the games are already produced, and it's digital media. Shouldn't the cost to Nintendo for putting it on Virtual Console be next to nothing? Why not give it to that small fanbase. It's pretty much all profit for Nintendo.Betamax001 wrote:I think it could be done. Whether it will be done is a different story. There are still development costs.BurningDoom wrote:Since the games are already produced, and it's digital media. Shouldn't the cost to Nintendo for putting it on Virtual Console be next to nothing? Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

The technology was available for Jaguar, but never officially released in retail. Supposedly it was great device from the 90's then to virtual boy red and black images.
