In the pictures in that thread, they looked more like toasts to me, but looking here to see if they sold them in Brazil, they looked more like baked pastries, like these:

Except this one is filled with chicken, not grape or other weird stuff.
Reminds me of empanadas.

*loves meat empanadas*

Poptarts are vile industrial food like products. The pastries above, now THAT's food.

Not to mention when they're filled with Grapelex-"A Pfizer product!"

My friend said like the exact same thing when I told her grape poptarts are back "I'm a brown sugar and cinnamon girl".

And who likes Jamaican beef patties:

I used to buy a frozen kind but the store doesn't have them anymore.

I love how we went from welcoming racketgirl, to puzzle games, to pastries.
Anyway, it's a bit late, but welcome to the fourms. :D

Eccch. I've got a PopTart store in the city.

Yes, and entire store dedicated to Pop-Tart-dom. On the upside, their Windows7 web kiosks aren't protected and I can easily enter the command shell.

But back to industrial pastries versus homemade pastries, it's all about perception. On one hand, when one thinks of fried dough, there's Dunkin' Donuts and Tim Horton's. On the other hand, at street fairs, there's Berliners, Paczkis, and Persians. (Not to be confused with death like deep fried Coke, the Elvis and the Vandross.)
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
