Every time a new system comes out, somebody feels it necessary to buy one and smash it, either in front of people waiting on line or through a video.

Why? Who knows, probably shock value.

I was responding to everyone who already has (or was going to) b&m about how he should have donated it to charity.

From playing with it I have no durability concerns. I can't make any guarentees if you drop it onto concrete, but it doesn't seem like it'll just randomly break.
