I remember wanting to see a Darkstalkers game featuring Morrigan in a Devil May Cry sorta game.

Then, bam - Bayonetta.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but it makes sense.

I would like to see the Dark Stalkers cast in a simulation game where you guide them on a journey across the world doing interpretive dances of their favorite episodes of Full House and Mork and Mindy. I would hope that the controls would be point and click with a few QTE's interspersed here and there in order to emphasize the really poignant moments such as when DJ was revealed to have an eating disorder or when it seemed Mort really did have to return to his planet leaving Mindy behind to suffer a broken heart.

Oh and it would need to be sprite based.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'd buy that for a dollar.

well the original PS1 game is already on PSN, so I doubt that. I think Choas Tower makes more sense since it's kind of a megamix of the full series, plus it was released for Matching Service in Japan on DC (much like Puzzle Fighter and SF2Turbo which both ended up getting the HD re-release treatment...)

I'd love to see a 2.5D Darkstalkers. Purists can hate, but I think the series is overdue for a Street Fighter 4-style reboot. I'll settle for an HD rerelease, of course.
