Wow didnt want the discussion go to this direction.. The thing I wanted to point out was that there are alot of complaints that the psp has only ports or no interesting games at all.. obviously I dont think that way because I bought a psp.. Just wanted to say I understand a bit where these people come from..

Yeah Ive heard some stuff about the loading times on the metal slug anthology but I dont think it will bother me too much.. Sometime this week my psp shoul hit the mail box.. cant wait!!

I'm inclined to agree. The DS does have a good selection of games, but they're kind of few and far between. I don't play mine very often. I find myself playing my PSP pretty regularly, and am always adding games to my stack.

Wow, that's sacrilegious hearing this from Mr GBA Man! I like them both equally but the PSP definitely has the edge in terms of emulator support.

What initially attracted me to the PSP was not its games, but its use as a portable media player. I was really excited at the prospect of a pocket video player that didn't suck (my memories of my VideoNow still haunt me to this day), and there were a few games that interested me on the system, as well. I got Mega Man Powered Up and Sonic Rivals with the PSP, and got it in the middle of a long road trip, so I had some time to get acquainted with it on the way back. Now I probably play my PSP more than my DS, because of its huge library of great RPGs and its useful sleep mode. I really love the little machine.

I guess I'm going to pick up a Psp but can't see it being used more than my Dsi. Sure it has some quality titles, those are few and far in between... Also, Psp doesn't have Pokemon

it's not sacrilegious at all. It's keeping it real. WHY was I "the GB guy?" Because I loved the amazing and strange library that was the GB/GBC/GBA. There's so many gems there. I don't have the same feeling about DS.

I really feel like the PSP picked up where the GBA left off. It is the next gen GBA in that it's home to lots of retro remakes and ports (hello RPGs!) but also has a lot of really fucking interesting and strange titles (What Did I Do To Deserve THis...?, Half Minute Hero, Prinny, etc etc etc). I'm also a huuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of shmups and fighters. PSP wins. Granted I have to import some, but...

so yeah, I agree with others. Maybe the PSP library is smaller, but it's far more interesting to me. Maybe it's because it's a "dying" system, but there's a lot more strange chances being taken on the platform. And I like that.
