Well, if Capcom ever makes it, if it's a DLC game, they might just make it online co-op. It's just me being weird in my speculations. Just saying I want both.


And that Resident Evil: Op Racoon City thing doesn't seem too bad. What if they're just calling it a shooter now, but it turns out to be a 4-6, maybe 8 player Mercenaries or something? The way I'm looking at it, it can have bigger stages, more players, and more interactions with probably everything.

I also didn't read the whole article, so the stuff I said might be pointless, but that's what I hope we'll be getting.

The next console Resident Evil game will be going back to Raccoon City.

Titled Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, the game will be a squad-based shooter. You will be part of a team the Umbrella Corp. sends in to clear its involvement in the events that happened in Resident Evil 2.

The game is being developed by Slant 6, who also made SOCOM: Confrontation. It will also feature competitive multiplayer, with Umbrella taking on the U.S. Government.

PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC owners can expect the game this winter.

Sad. It's a shame that RE is becoming less survival horror and more action-y. I'm not a fan of squad based shooters, but I'll still try the demo or something. It can't be as bad as RE5

Hehe, just add a couple chest high walls, an action based cover system, and a First person perspective, and you've completely killed your franchise Oh yeah, lets make Hunk a space marine with a gruff voice, everyone loves those

Except the one where the guy is using a zombie for a human shield. How stupid is that? How easy would it be for that zombie to just bite his arm, game over.
