I strongly agree with this.

Speaking of FF, Dissdia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy (or whatever) doesn't roll off the tongue very nicely.
I also agree. 14 should just be called FF online 2 or something. Oh, and I just call it Dissidia 2. Dissidia 012 Duodecim Finial fantasy or whatever it's called is too complicated.

Top 50 Worst Game Names Ever:

Some, such as Beyond the Beyond and Sticky Balls have already been mentioned, but I found this article quite an enjoyable read. I don't agree with them all though. I'm actually rather fond of the name Wargasm.

I've always wanted to try 70's Robot Anime Geppy-X. I might have to tonight.

Gotta agree with M.U.S.C.L.E. (Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere)

I mean, seriously? A lot of acronyms are bad, but this borders on absurd.

I always thought that a sequel to a game called FINAL Fantasy was kind of silly.
Ha ha, I must agree. I do like the story behind it though, that they thought that was going to be their final game.

It also makes some sense (or did, before they started milking their games) because there was never a repeating story, and the games are not really sequels

At least it sort of made sense for the toy marketing.

It's actually based on an equally generic, and short-lived cartoon by the same name.

Which is based on an equally generic range of action figures that've been making
bajillions for thirty years now.
