oh god, i fucking hate the name of this game. it's funny, sorta, and the music is funny, and the game is good but god DAMN i hate this name.

I believe that's the point. It's supposed to be a parody of how many games have zombies in them and how eagerly folks eat them up that even a game with this title, which looks like it was written by a 12 year old, can be popular.

I think I read that Shinji Mikami has actually been quoted in saying that the team didn't want the game to be called "Resident Evil" for Western audiences, but later agreed on it because of how funny it sounded.

And Street Fighter existed decades before Capcom's franchise even debuted. Capcom didn't invent the title. I suppose Streets of Rage sounds corny compared to the original Bare Knuckle.

Also, this one is a bit more personal, but I always thought Final Fantasy 11 should not have been called this, but should have just been Final Fantasy Online. IDK, it just kind of ruined the flow for me, as I am a huge fan of 4-10 (some more than others, but i thoroughly enjoyed them all)

... not to say I didn't enjoy 11, it was probably the most fun I've had playing an MMO, but I just do not like the idea of playing MMO's, and it just seemed to break up the nice streak that was going.

I was thinking about Spy Hunter. Not too bad, but it seems backwards. To me, you play as a spy who is being hunted by numerous government blue cars, boats, and helicopters. Don't get me wrong, I have no idea if the game even has a story, but it seems like it should be called Spy Huntee since you are being hunted.
