To add fuel to the fire, what do you guys think of making Mercenaries a standalone game like they are doing for the 3DS?

Better yet, if Mercenaries was a XBLA/PSN standalone game, would you have bought it by itself?
Anyone excited for the RE:4 and RE:CV HD remakes for 360:PS3

If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Probably not.
I like how that was an extra in 2 or 3.

I think the Mercenaries game on the 3DS looks great. I would like to try it out. If the game were priced around $20, I would buy it for the 360/PS3.avrame wrote:To add fuel to the fire, what do you guys think of making Mercenaries a standalone game like they are doing for the 3DS?

I'm actually more excited for Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS than these 2 HD remakes. Just not enough for me to buy em again, not even a physical case I can add to my stack.
But I'm liking the idea of Mercenaries on PSN and XBLA for $20 bucks. Especially if it had local AND online co-op. It'd also be nice if they included almost everyone from the main series as playable characters. In fact, they could easily make it a tribute to the main series by having all the characters that previously appeared, and have areas like the Spencer Mansion as stages.

RE5 does have local and online. Unless that's not what you meant.Veno wrote:Especially if it had local AND online co-op.

I will definitely be picking this up. When it's being sold for $5.

Back in 96, when I was playing the original Resident Evil for the first time, I really could have never predicted in a million years that this would be how things turned out for the series.

I'm just glad I'm not alone here.
10 bucks that game will have a cover system!
And more than likely the campaign will never have a single part with you going in alone, just like Lost Planet 2 or RE5. So we can definitely expect the return of some of the worst friendly AI this generation has ever seen!
My, how one of my long time favorite companies has completely fallen these last several years.
Some of the comments there were funny: "But I don't want to kill Leon..."

I'm so disappointed in Capcom right now.
Really? A squad based shooter? Resident evil? My brain cannot comprehend such a disgrace.
