it's a lot like Majora's (in that it LOOKS really good ,but I don't really like it that much)
Sigma Star Saga is a great combo of RPG and SHMUP in one
Sigma Star Saga SHOULD BE a great comboof RPG and shmup. Instead it's just an OK combo of RPG and shmup. But whatever. I'm glad Namco tried. I have a CIB copy that I can't part with even if I'm underwhelmed. It was sort of a Gardian Legend homage.

Those aren't RPGs.

As for good PSP RPGs:

Brave Story is a decent standard JRPG
Class of Heroes - Wizadry clone which is less punishing at the beginning than others
Crimson Gem Saga
Half Minute Hero
Hexyz Force - I'm only a little way in, so far it's good, made by Sting
Persona - A non-butchered version of the PS1 original
Persona 3 - Has a female MC story available if you've played it on the PS2
Star Ocean series - Only english release of the first game
Valkyria Chronicles II - While a step back in a few ways from the original (map reuse) it has a lot of new ideas and overall is an improvement over the original

Minish Cap isn't really that great of a game (in my opinion). LTTP rules, but I was trying to think of handhelf exclusives more than obvious ports.
I always dug Minish cap it was a really neat game in the series sorta like the GameBoy's Majora.

Sigma Star Saga is a great combo of RPG and SHMUP in one and Scurge Hive was a great Metroid style RPG that was really fun.

Thanks for the heads up on Scurge: Hive & Sigma Star Saga I have found both NEW for less than £10 posted.

I played the Breath of Fire games on the SNES and loved them. Sword of Mana was a lot of fun and has two different stories to play. On the psp, the best sleeper I have discovered yet is Popolocrois. I adore that game.

But seriously, just think of all the time saved when instead of going through a stack of rpgs you could play Street Fighter II Turbo Revival, which is clearly the best game on the gba

He asked for good RPG's or Action RPG's. Zelda is classified as an Adventure/Action RPG game.

We don't need to have this debate again. But Nintendo does not consider it to be an RPG.

I know... I started to respond to it earlier and then realized it was pretty well-worn RB material.

I don't know why people care one way or the other tho. It's like telling someone into punk that they should check out Joy Division. Who's going to go "I like action/RPGs, darnit! Don't tell me about good games that are similar but aren't quite RPGs!!!"
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games
