Handheld RPG recommendations?
Handheld RPG recommendations?
I'm looking to pick a couple of Handheld RPG's on the GBA for summer. Ideally I'm looking for RPG's that are relatively short and not complicated maybe an action RPG. Just something I can kill 30 minutes with at the park, lunch break etc. Any help would be great.

You'll want to check out Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, Shining Soul 2 (skip the first) and Boktai 1 & 2 then. Also good, but longer and not action/RPG are Golden Sun 1 & 2 and the two Fire Emblem games. Finally, you can go retro and pick up ports like Zelda 1 & 2, Breath of Fire 1 & 2 or the Phantasy Star Collection (great even tho PSIV is missing). Of course, you could also play an original or color Game Boy game depending on what GBA system you're using.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

Pokemon
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (SRPG)
Pokemon is an obvious recommendation. FFTA perhaps not so much, but all the battles in the game are relatively short, so it sounds just right for a half hour blast to me.

Golden Sun is a save anywhere game. It also saves in about half a second. It's definetely conducive to quick plays.
