Have yet to play through Code veronica, but the RE4 screenshot is enough to get my blood pumping again
I'd much rather play through RE4 again then RE5
I'm looking forward to it
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Wait wait wait hold the fuck on:
we get a code: veronica remake before a remake of RE2?

I know that Capcom is not alone in taking trips back to the well to make more money but...
...I get the feeling they've made that trip so much that the beaten path leading up the hill is looking more like a fucking trench at this point.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Wow. That actually looks good. I'm not sure if I should wait to play those two versions to FINALLY complete those games or just go back to my Wii for RE:4 and PS2 or Dreamcast for RE:CV.
I liked RE:5 and I stopped playing that too but I think I covered the whole not finishing what I started in video games on a seperate thread the other day.

I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Cool, a version of RE4 that was actually meant for the PS2 in the first place.
Re: Anyone excited for the RE:4 and RE:CV HD remakes for 360:PS3
Hell yeah. RE4 is def one of my favorite games of all time. I really wish a version for PSP would come out just so I could take it places with me....
Can't wait to see how an HD version stacks up with the PC version with all the high res mods. At the very least it should have proper lighting effects haha.

Just wait. It'll probably happen sooner or later. With how much Capcom pimps RE4 out, the fact that there isn't an Amiga or Commodore 64 version yet perplexes me.deathsled wrote:Hell yeah. not really excited, i rather play the originals on gamecube or wii. what we need HD for is the likes of Sonic 1 to 3, Street of Rage 1 to 2, etc (16-bit era).

I already have RE4 on the Wii. And that one has perfect controls. So who cares if this one just looks better? UNLESS... they add strafing or some sort of really good PS Move functionality, then I might be interested. But then again, it's hard to imagine RE4 playing any better than it does on the Wii

*Chants* I will NOT purchase the same two games for the third time, I will NOT purchase the same two games for the third time. I'm typically a purist and prefer playing everything on legacy hardware, but still, Capcom knows how to hit where it hurts
