Wow this is surely confusing. Is this about race or nationality? Because it looks like a weird mixture of both.

I was born in America (and have always lived here) if you talk nationality, but family wise I'm full blooded Italian.
No you're not.

No one is 100% anything. My Grandparents (both sets) came over on a boat from Germany to America before WW2 started. Although I can date back my ancestry for hundreds of years, I would never say I'm 100% German as someone had to sneak up in something at one point. And as far as Italians claiming to be 100% Italian...you've got to be kidding me. The reason Italians look the way they do is from either spray tanning or interbreeding.

You're taking it more seriously than I do Luke, and that's saying something.

You know what I meant. You're assuming I'm ignorant, rather than just simplifying. Obviously nobody is full, 100%, whatever they are. I can also go back a couple of hundred years in my family (earliest traces of the family name in the 1400s), and for simply expressing the point that's good enough.

If someone asks me my ancestry, I'm not going to tell them I'm Italian, plus whatever eclectic mix of other Europeans, Africans, and assorted others were brought in way before any living member of my family was born. I'm just going to say Italian.

As for the tanning crack, well, my family is from central Italy, neighbors to Rome. Of course there was interbreeding. It would be stupid to think there wasn't.

If my use of the term "full blooded" bugs you that much, well, sorry. It is what it is. I say it to convey that my parents are both Italian (as are all of my grandparents obviously, so on and so forth). Maybe its the wrong way to put it, but I'm not really interested in arguing about my choice of words here, good or bad.

Well I'm a white Australian. I do have European in me but I'm not from Europe, I'm a born and raised Australian. Maybe you should put in a 'other' selection.

While I chose, white american because i mostly associate myself with that race. TECHNICALLY speaking, I am bi-racial. Half white american, half mexican. However I dont usually get that choice in most polls.
