It's hard to tell how much room you have in the threatre area, but could you put a crt tv in there and hook up the classics to that? So, then if you want to play some of those while someone else watches something or wants to play a current gen you can do it at the same time plus you said you didn't want those hooked up to your flat panel tv. You can find some decent size crt's right now for next to nothing.fedexin wrote:Hey all, I've just finished some shuffling around in the playroom attached to my garage and finally have something to show! All of my classic systems are still safely packed away, but I'm working on a way to display them and still have space for the home theatre. My current gen systems are all in my AV setup and controlled with a harmony remote. I'm kinda loathe to plug my classic systems into my flat panel. We'll see. At any rate, lots of cleaning left to do on this side.

I've actually been playing with that idea for a year now. I had a great 32" sony trinitron I picked up for $25 a while back, originially scheduled for new MAME creation of mine, only to resell it after a move and had no space for it. I'm looking now for a smaller tv to put in a back corner of the room. I want to play some Soviet Strike (which I'm looking to purchase) on my neglected Saturn and can think of no better way than a little 25" set.the King wrote:It's hard to tell how much room you have in the threatre area, but could you put a crt tv in there and hook up the classics to that?
