World of Tanks is an awesome free-to-play multiplayer game based on pre-Cold War tank technology, the matches are quite simple at the moment (destroy the enemy or capture their base) but more modes are promised if I'm not mistaken. Premium content is available for people who are willing to pay but cheapskates can enjoy the game all the same. The game is going "retail" soon.
Matchmaking is still primitive, and it's quite impossible to form a racketboy platoon because the XP requirements are still ridiculous.
