but i like it since the arcade days and the release on the n64. I think i like due to the aracde fun factor of it. And the diversity of scenary you drive in its awesome to look at even if not top notch graphic.
Haha, absolutely loved the Cruisn' games, but yeah the N64 versions were pretty bad in terms of graphics compared to other games like Rush at the time. Still loved them though.

The Battle Arena Toshinden series.
BAT 2 is my favorite, hugely due to the rockin' soundtrack (right on the CD, no less!) BAT 3 was pretty cool at the time for it's option to play at 30 or 60fps - unheard of at the time for a polygon fighter!
The series was loved and popular for about a year and a half until Namco released that other weapons-based fighting game. All of a sudden, everybody, including EGM, trashed the game and wondered why they loved it so much ion the first place.. It seemed like the cool thing to do, I guess - but not me. To this day I still pop them in my PS3 and am actually amazed at what they managed to pull off given the time they were released! So many people fail to realize that until we got BAT 1, all we had in the genre were Samurai Shodown, (which, unless you were rick/lucky enough to have an AES, wasn't really worth playing outside of the arcade,) and WeaponLord.

Last Bronx came out before Soul Calibur, but I still hear good things about that, yet I still hear mixed reviews of BAT to this day. Pretty sure it was after BAT it was released though.

The only fighter my friends like is Power Stone. Some like Super Turbo but aren't any good at it (neither am I), so yeah.
