my girlfriend consistently schools me in ken griffey jr's major league baseball for snes. it's embarrassing. she can also hold her own in puzzle fighter, bust-a-move, and tetris.

she's really good at beat-em-ups and shmups too, but she doesn't really like to play them. we beat radiant silvergun together, which was probably one of the coolest moments in my life.

My wife rarely plays any games, but she kicks ass at Sonic 1, 2, SMB3 and SMW. Anything made after the SNES and Genesis era forget it, she has no interest.

*Inserts appropriately awesome music and takes a moment to laugh at her shirt meme even harder after seeing the guns*

Seriously though, when's the wedding? Renting a con center isn't cheap!

My wife sucks ass at all games...furthermore, every new shmup I play gets this line, "Oh, so it's just like space invaders."

My boyfriend is okay with me being a gamer, but he is not one himself. He had an Atari when he was younger so he did dip his toes in the classics.

The best day of my life is when we got his Atari to work and he sat there and played Pac-Man.

Hot.

No no. I was so impressed that he knew how to play and enjoyed it.

I'm surprised it took this long for the name to be used.
