Just finished Pier Solar and picked up Skies of Arcadia again and am about to enter the Dark Rift.
I love this game I just needed to get a copy of a FAQ to delete what was completed, that way if I take a break again I remember what to do next. I try not to use the FAQ just delete completed sections (after a boss) its a good way to play long RPGs.
What RPG are you playing right now?

I'm playing Pokemon White right now. So far, I'm going to hit the 8th gym and before I go to Victory Road, I'll spend some time training.

Pokemon White (only 1 badge so far, haven't had too much free time) and I'm going to start up a playthrough of FFIX soon.

Playing Dragon Age: Origins. Recently got a laptop capable of playing newer games and I've heard good things about this game from a friend. I like it so far (about 5.5 hours in).

I'm playing Disgaea Hour of Darkness for the PS2 right now. This game is perfect. It's simple and complex. It seems that you can get through the game only scraping the surface, or spend over 100 hours in it if you want to. The story is simple, and doesn't force long cut scenes on you when you just wanna play. Cut scenes are almost nonexistent. You can jump in and out of this game easily, play it for just 10 minutes or for hours. This is great compared to other RPGs where you have to make sure you have the next hour free before the next opportunity to save. That's what I really like about it.

I know people who have played Disgaea, and are still leveling up to this day.Ziggy587 wrote:I'm playing Disgaea Hour of Darkness for the PS2 right now. This game is perfect. It's simple and complex. You should check it out, it's pretty neat. I don't play a lot of RPGs, but I think it's fairly unique. For example, you can pick up and throw enemies and allies. And there's something called Geo Spheres which can make for interesting gameplay. Then there's the Item World, you can go into an item to level it up (at least I think that's what you do). It's pretty involved. Apparently every item has it's own "world" that you can go into. When you go into an item, it's 10 floors of enemies. You get bonuses for each floor you clear, and you level up the item this way. I think, I'm not 100% on the item world concept yet lol.fvgazi wrote:All this talk about Disgaea for Ps2 is intriguing!
