Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

hey, I'm 28, married, 1 child, and I just recently got hired by a fire department.. aside from always wanting to be a fire fighter and stopping at nothing on achieving that goal, I can honestly say that my only other passion are video games, sega saturn and the dreamcast are pretty much the only two consoles I play whenever I can.
Gaming God.

Hey there. A new guy from Cali just signed up.

Lurked on the site and stumbled upon the thread about going to vintage video game stores from Japan.

I've been an avid gamer since I was kid. Played mostly the big three... Nintendo, Playstation and Sega growing up.

Nowadays just on the PS3 and occasionally dabbling some game time on the NDS.

Looking forward to seeing what this community is all about. Cheers! :D

Hey, new member from Knoxville, Tennessee. Lurked since summer last year, just decided I might as well join.

I'm a senior in high school. I'm relatively new to retrogaming but so far I've had a blast since I decided to take it up. I currently have an original Game Boy, Super Nintendo mini, Genesis model 2, N64, Dreamcast, original PS2, Game Boy Advance SP, Wii, and DS Lite.

Looking forward to more adventures in the world of retrogaming.

Hey everyone,

This forum seems like a good fit for me. So uh... obviously I'm new, my name is Zack, I'm 19, but I've been playing games my entire life. I've recently gotten back into retro gaming, it's entirely different playing retro games now than when I was a little kid.

I dusted off my Dreamcast yesterday and ordered a new controller and AV cables from the racketboy store, (Totally surprised at being able to buy a NiB controller) most of my games are gone now, but I'm sure it'll still be fun, I'll just have to pick up some new ones.

I've also been looking to buy a premodded Saturn, (So I can play those translated SF3 scenarios) I've never played one before so I'm very excited to get my hands on one.

If you haven't noticed by now I was once a Sega fanboy, I even found my Genesis a couple of weeks ago and have been playing some Shining Force 2 and Shining in the Darkness; I have the powerbase converter, but haven't found any master system games I've wanted to play. I also still have a NES, but I lost my SNES, I've tried emulators but it's just not the same.

My favorite genre is RPGs, but I also enjoy pretty much any other genre.

Outside of gaming I also enjoy reading, writing and tabletop games. (Such as D&D and Warhammer, plus many other RPGs and miniature wargames)

I suppose that's about it, if you took enough time to read my rambling about myself, I give you a salute.
