Post by HoboJoe »

I have a model 1 saturn and I did the modifications to the modchip and I am able to play original games. The problem is I can't play burned games...I've trie dburning with bypassing EFM and I've even tried changing the region of the game. I don't know what the problem is, especially since I can play original games. Any hepl would be great. Thanks.

Can you take some pics of the inside of your Saturn with the mod chip for us?
Atari 2600 (AV mod), NES, SNES (region switch for PAL), Virtual Boy, Gamecube, Wii (D2CKey), PSX (Stealth V), PS2 (independence exploit w/ 160 GB HDD), Goldstar 3DO, Philips CD-i, Dreamcast, Saturn (racketboy's chip), Sega Genesis 2 + CD2 + 32X + Power Base Converter, Game Gear.

the power supply is hooked up to the red cable and i know that works because before when i forgot to connect it it wouldnt boot the fragment saturn screen and would go straight to the audio screen and owuldnt play originals. Thanks again.

I have a feeling its what im burning because if i can play originals that means that the signals are being sent...so the modchip should be able to work....i known the .bin of the gam works cause i tested it with an emulator....i think im done trying stuff until someone has some idea what to do cause ive gone through like 25 cds....

*EDIT*
I'm starting to think its the modchip because with the mod in i can do the swap trick and the back-up works with screwy audio (only plays one sound track) but i sitll cant start up a backup without a swap trick....im thinking my modchip was just defective but not much i can do about it since i soldered it to work for a model 1 saturn....looks like im out of luck until my job starts in april....i hate school...
