If anyone sees me stop me and I'll hang out and talk. Is the meet up at 4 tomorrow? That's probably the only place I won't be Keith. I can't be seen out of character on the floor.noiseredux wrote:Nathan, I certainly hope I get to meet you in person!
Also I'll be playing the new Virtual Boy music video at my panel Sunday at 1:30.

I don't have anyway to do that. Sorry. There will be a video though.

Aw. I waited by ACAM on Sunday, but got moved by the post-panel poster-grab.
If anyone someone that looked like my avatar in a red-shirt, that was me.

My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

So any feedback on this year's convention from anyone? Did you enjoy it? What were some of the highlights? Who did you meet up with?
The Boston Globe has some pictures of the convention here:

I was wondering why you weren't there?gtmtnbiker wrote:So any feedback on this year's convention from anyone? Did you enjoy it? What were some of the highlights? Who did you meet up with?

Anyway, I had a blast! I only got to go Sunday, but it was awesome. We checked out the floor for a while -- played the demo of Skullgirls, saw the 3DS (meh) in action, played that new Mario Sports Wii game (meh), saw MvC3 and lots of booths. I took a picture with a cosplay girl dressed as Morrigan.
Then me and my wife met up with Racket and DSH for lunch. Then hit up Talking Classics. My wife got to be in one of Keith's skits. Then he got kicked out PAX style. THEN he arranged a hang out down the hall so we all got to meet him and everything.
Then my wife and I checked out the retro arcade with Racketboy and Racketgirl. Then we headed to the RB meetup in the classic console room with Weasels and littlecalun. Me and DSH played NBA Jam and Capcom brawler that was a lot like Golden Axe (too lazy for looking it up). Then my wife schooled me in Colecovision Smurf Adventure.
All in all it was a great day, and I totally plan to go back next year -- hopefully for more than a day.

I'm glad that you had a good time. We were up north skiing at Jay Peak, VT for the weekend. I'm hoping that we go one more time before putting the skis away for next winter.noiseredux wrote: I was wondering why you weren't there?
If I indicated that I wanted to go to the convention, my wife would really think I'm nuts. It's bad enough that she thinks I'm a kid again and that the kids are "addicted" on their DS.
Maybe next year I'll attend under the pretense that there's a home show going on?
