There's about three pawn shops in my area, and two of them are pretty sweet. I got the Gamecube version of Zelda Twilight Princess complete for $5 from one of them, and from another I got New Super Mario bros (cart only) for $10. The third one is pretty yucky though - old XBOX and PS2 games for $40, (literally) chewed up B-grade Nintendo DS for $30... Needless to say I don't visit that one often.

So, I guess it just depends on where you look. The point is to keep looking!

Congrats on a great find! I love a good Goodwill find - however they are getting harder to find (however I still love my new Super Paper Mario Wii I got recently for $15).

I had someone on CL going to give me Seaman and some other DC stuff but it was bad weather today! :(

I grabbed a Japanese Saturn for $5.00 at the bins last week. Its only flaw is a slightly loose A/V cable connector. I kept the Goodwill sticker on it for good measure. Still use the U.S. Saturn though.

Wow, I wish I'd found all that stuff. I love my CD-i.

Once, at the local Salvation Army, I found a full and working Ikari Warriors arcade cabinet. Worked great, and it even had some quarters still in the coin bank thingy. $20. Eventually sold it for $500.

Yes, CDI games. Every Zelda CDI game, Burn Cycle, some saucy risque title with a French name, and "Kether", a title which the Video Game Critic rated at an A- or something. $2.99 a game.
