Homebrew Gamecube emulation.
If someone makes this work, I'll buy it.
All I Want from the NGP
Re: All I Want from the NGP
I just want it to not cost more than $300.
I think that for the foreseeable future we are both SOL.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
Re: All I Want from the NGP
Gamecube emulation seems viable.
As for the price tag... who knows...
Let us not forget the $600 PS3.

Re: All I Want from the NGP
I want games to be on physical media and include 100% of the game. If there is DLC, it needs to be free and have no DRM or restrictions of any sort. I want a replaceable battery as well.
If the above is true, I will want to buy a PSP2. However, I still wouldn't be able to buy it new because I am boycotting Sony.
Fuck you, Sony. You killed Liksang and you killed the PS3.

Re: All I Want from the NGP
I want a decent sequel to Card Fighter's Clash, and a new Neo Turf Masters.
We are prepared to live in the plain and die in the plain!
Re: All I Want from the NGP
I want a Capcom vs SNK vs DC Universe vs Marvel vs Mortal Kombat Pocket Fighter that shines a golden light so bright that when the cartridge is inserted it gives my NGP a heavenly backlight.Hatta wrote:I want a decent sequel to Card Fighter's Clash, and a new Neo Turf Masters.
Re: All I Want from the NGP
Riiight, because DLC should be developed for free. Those guys don't need to eat or have their hard work rewarded. Damn them for wanting to protect that hard work against casual copying! Those CRIMINALS! Goddamnit, my $40 ENTITLES ME TO MORE MORE MORE MORE.Inazuma wrote:I want games to be on physical media and include 100% of the game. Yes, they out-legal'd Lik-Sang. So what? You do something in flagrant violation of the law, claim you're protected by Hong Kong's legal system (where anything goes), and then cry foul. They shuttered their doors by choice so as to avoid a protracted legal battle that they knew they had no chance of winning. To this day, they have not paid a single penny to Sony. Sony didn't kill them, they could have easily stopped doing what they were doing when they were asked, and continued to provide their many other services and products instead. (Like they did after the mod chip/flash cart injunction.) They didn't.Inazuma wrote:Fuck you, Sony. You killed Liksang and you killed the PS3.
.and how on Earth has the PS3 been killed? Oh my goodness, they're protecting the PS3 online experience? THOSE BASTARDS!
Re: All I Want from the NGP
Why would they make DLC if they couldn't charge for it?Inazuma wrote:If there is DLC, it needs to be free and have no DRM or restrictions of any sort.

Re: All I Want from the NGP
Sony's allegation against Lik-Sang was petty to say the least. All Sony got out of it was bad PR. Why did it matter to Sony whether Lik Sang was exporting PSPs? They got money out of it either way.
When it came to closing shop, Lik-Sang didn't really have much of a choice. It was either close down and save some cash, or close down because you lost all your money in a court battle. It didn't matter if they could win or not, they simply couldn't afford to fight a giant like Sony. Look at Bleem, they actually won their case but ended up having to shut down anyhow thanks to court costs.

To support the fans that bought their product as incentive to keep playing it and buy their future products. Lots of games have free DLC.Flake wrote:Why would they make DLC if they couldn't charge for it?Inazuma wrote:If there is DLC, it needs to be free and have no DRM or restrictions of any sort.
