Macross: Eternal Love Song made my first year of marriage sometimes rocky because I COULDN'T STOP PLAYING IT! It's like a cross between Super Robot Taisen and Nectaris. It was my first introduction to Japanese strategy/tactics games. The shmup, Macross 2036 seems to be far more popular, but I enjoyed the strategy game far more. The characters from the shmup show up later in the story of the strategy game, too.

The HuCard version of Side Arms had a Turbografx release. Side Arms Special was a Japanese only CD release.
