I've gotten pretty sick and tired of how moronic and stupid itunes auto-sync option is. So I decided I wanted to just move music and videos to and from my ipod manually as you can't count on stupid machines to ever do things properly
Problem is, whenever I check the manually manage music and video option, it looks likes a big chunk of the ipod's memory suddenly gets taken up. I don't understand what the deal is here. How does simply switching on an option take up memory space? I'm confused and annoyed

Re: Question for ipod touch users
That's strange. That doesn't happen to me. I handle all the files manually too, but that doesn't happen.
