Uh, eessccuzzee me... it is a 4 game losing streak :-/. I just see them not trying anymore. They seem so lazy and lost out there - blaming some of it on the coaches, which I feel is bullshit. They got cocky, top of the Easter Conference, we can take a couple nights off, right? They failed to realize that every other team is making an insane push out of desperation, having fixed most of the issues that kept them from beating us all season - Sabres new coach comes to mind. My big fear is that everyone is doubting on Bobrovsky. Completely unfair. This kid is amazing, but his team has given up on him. It's not the goaltending that is the issue, which I think was proven tonight by Boucher's dreadful performance... again the teams fault not his. Boucher is experienced enough to realize what is going on and shake it off, Bobs is a rookie int he NHL and I worry about what these losses, as well as the finger pointing at the goalies and the whining in the locker room will do to his confidence.YoshiEgg25 wrote:What do you mean, "tonight"? I love how the Penguins were fielding an AHL team, had the 2nd worst last 10 record during the weekend (behind only atlanta), and we gain ground on the flyers. wtf.

Let's getting this going, can't let the NBA playoffs overshadow the quest for the Stanley Cup!
Granted my Wild just floundered down the line, it will be a (hopefully short) pain in the summer, will need to do the draft right while signing collegian players to ensure our team has depth in talent and key roles; finding the right coach to oversee young players mature and grow into key pillars for the future.
As for the Coyotes, are Desert Dogs dead? I think at this point of time, this team needs to move to a better place, where fans WILL come to every games. Not to kick dirt to Yote's fans, but coming to playoff games while skipping 20+ games during regular season isn't the way to support the team.
Will see if them Hawks can even it out with the Canucks? And is it time for Country Music City to be a hockey town?

Got several game 7 coming soon, wonder if this favors the Caps more or the Wings?

Flyers have to make it exciting as usual. This was an exciting series. Yes it went to game 7 and yes we had a goaltending situation that was beyond bizarre, but I think these guys are going deep. I think the goaltending situation will work out now, Boosh is great in clutch situations and now that he is pretty much the chosen starter, he will have less distractions and be able to get in his groove. The question is whether our offense will slump again. Pronger being back - even at reduced time - is a huge deal. He is intimidating (obvious since anytime his name is mentioned, fans of any team other than the Flyers start huffing and puffing). He is a veteran who performs great in the post season and performs his roll well.

Things are getting interesting for the quarter-finals, I think the Lighting has a good chance of upsetting the Caps, if Roloson can stay hot - if he wasn't injured in the '06 finals, I think it would been the Oilers holding up the Cup; both sides are almost equal in offensive.
I favor slightly for the Flyers over the Bruins - the Bruins will need to show up early in the series and not hoping for OT drama or pushing the series to 6 or 7 games.
Time to tip my hat for the Preds, now if the fans will continue to fill the arena after this series. I still think the Canucks will win the series, but Bobby Lu will need to continue to play better.
The Sharks has one more time to prove themselves against the Red Wings, if they fail again, I do think some changes will come - can't just change the goalie and hope everything will fall in place.
