Eww... I hated it.
 , I went through all the Aliens last week myself...

Alien - Masterpiece.
Aliens - I love it.
Aliens 3 - I honestly didn't hate it...
Resurrection - AvP tier garbage, one of the hardest to finish movies I've seen in a long time. The acting, the action, the characters, the story, oh man... everything was horrendous. It wasn't humorously bad, it was just straight up terrible.
Aliens was by far the best one.

I finally saw District 9. VERY intense, very emotional, and even disturbing and tragic at times. A great movie should keep you this emotionally involved. Great film that I recommend anyone watching.

The movie started off bad, but not wholly in-sufferable, until half an hour in when you saw the dogs running around in poorly designed shrew costumes (and barking! Hello! Editing department! Couldn't you have cut that part out?). That, and all the characters were drinking far too much. Personally, I'd like to be sober in order to formulate a plot to get away from those poorly designed creatures, rather than drinking myself into a stupor. But maybe that's just me. Favorite line: "Argh! There's a muppet under the stairs!"
I got that movie on one of those giant horror movie packs a while ago and my friend and I had a blast watching it and laughing our asses off at the the barking dogs with a bunch of torn cloth thrown on them being presented as giant shrews.
I have that same pack 8) But I never watched that version of The Killer Shrews. I bought the pack pretty much solely for Nosferatu, The Little Shop of Horrors, Night of the Living Dead, and the Lon Chaney and Vincent Price films in the pack. It never occurred to me to watch Killer Shrews....It just sounded bad. Now I'm going to have to go through every film in the pack to see what other ones are as..... entertaining

The Fighter (2010)– I was pleasantly surprised by this one, which soars on the acting talent of the cast. Given his recent string of action films, it is easy to forget that Christian Bale can actually act. He certainly turns in an award winning performance in this one, and even Wahlberg (whom I usually don’t like) is very good. The whole cast is perfectly cast, the story is fascinating, and the film is deserving of its acclaim. One of the best of last year.
Grade: 4.5/5

Paranormal Activity (2009) – Wow. I had heard some great things about this one, but what I found was a sad excuse for a horror film. In this film, aka Blair Witch Part VII: The Spooky House, the premise is that everything the audience sees was found on a videotape. The problem with this premise is that there are far too many things videotaped that no one – even a videophile asshole like the lead character – would ever tape. A film like this must work on a suspension of disbelief, but when Cloverfield 4: OMG Demonz is always erasing that belief through ridiculous shots, cheesy effects, or horrendous acting, the film goes nowhere. It gets a half point for some well thought out set design and a half point for being mercifully short.

I hate all the "you are there" cheap recording movies. Curse you Blair Witch for starting all the crappy shaky VHS camera "reality" horror movies. Speaking of a low budget movie, I saw this one.

Buried
I was expecting a basic horror movie. Turns out to be a great suspense, is this guy going to get out alive type of movie. Makes one wonder what what to do if in the same circumstance. Not going to give away the ending, this is the way a low budget movie should be made.

I didnt care for that movie at all, time wasted in my opinion, and I LOVE small budget films that can.

Windaria (anime) - Wow, it was basically like a fairy tale gone wrong, haha. Visually outstanding, topped off with some amazing music, I was really impressed. A bit slow paced but the atmosphere took off and I did not see some of those twists coming.
