I stumbled upon this while reading an article on www.nesplayer.com
I haven't read the book so I can't fully appreciate everything, but it seems pretty solid so far.

The Great Gatsby NES Game
Re: The Great Gatsby NES Game
That was a very interesting read. I read the book again last year. The cover by Francis Cugat was well represented except limited by 8bit graphics. The eyes hold some interesting illustrations in the original painting you can almost see it in the game LOL.
Some info on the cover

It seems the makers of the game are having trouble with hosting. Too much traffic, the game loads slow. It's worth the wait though. Great controls and so far they have done a great job of turning novel into a game. Although I don't remember that train ride

Just played and beat it, first try. Not too difficult, really. I found myself remembering how much I'd forgotten about the book.

Wow this isn't too bad, old sport! I'm digging the title screen too.

Re: The Great Gatsby NES Game
Way better than the book. Which I gave up on after the second page.
Re: The Great Gatsby NES Game
I finally got around to playing it all the way through. I think they did a great job with the art and controls. Many movie/book based games back then could have learned things from these guys.
Thanks everyone...

That's really an interesting game. They did it with nice graphics and standard 8-bit sounds.
If you're a NES fan like me, it's worth playing ! (since we don't new NES games very often!
