Gamestop selling off older games-Buy2 get2 free sale Sunday!

Okay I was standing in gamestop today and on the television they were naturally playing those constant reminders like "Pre-order fps 27 today and receive---". You know what I mean. Well one of them caught my attention. It said something to the effect of "Starting April 3rd, Gamestop will not be carrying Game Boy Advance related items."

Well there goes another system. I guess the Gamecube and PS2 will hold out a little longer. Anybody think we still have plenty of time to pick up those obscure GC and PS2 titles?

Where's Mod_Man? I'm sure he knows about this.

Now would be a good time to get the cheapo carts. It's probably worth waiting for price reductions on the expensive games.

EB Games (Or JB HiFi for that matter) in Australia has not stocked GBA games for years, A little over a year and a half ago they stopped selling Gamecube.
And they now longer sell Xbox games as of a few weeks ago (They are selling all there stock for $4).

Gamecube will go next, because gamecube games are not as popular as ps2 games. Cheap ps2 games like sports or whatever are already being put in sleeves, so I suppose that is a sign of something.

Well that sucks. It was inevitable, and amazing that they held on this long. But it's still sad to see em go.

Nobody here should be surprised at anything gamestop does.

I've learned to ignore them. It doesn't do me any good to get pissed off every time they do something disagreeable.
