I think mostly everyone that has tried it likes that clicky joystick.

Although I think a regular d-pad is great in other handhelds as well, I do not think the clicky input is the way to go for every handheld.

Also, and I know it's been mentioned before, the battery life on these things is insane! I literally haven't changed the batteries since I got my NGPC in the mail back in January! (And I've played it quite a bit!)

I bought one of these a couple weeks ago, $50 NIB

It is worth every penny and then some. It has taken some getting used to but I have yet to find a handheld better suited to fighting games on the go.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I bought a NGPC Sonic bundle with my Christmas money in Dec '99. A couple months later it was totally erased from the US. Didn't have enough time to save up my money for an extra game. :(

@Bradtemple

Yeah, Amazon.com has a few. It was such a good deal that I did not let myself believe it until it arrived. Add NGPC to the growing list of incredible game systems I never would have experienced if it hadn't been for this website.

I have always been torn between the game boy micro, advance sp and neo geo pocket color. One of those three are my favorite handheld system of all time depending on what game I am playing.

I had a ngpc a few years ago but lost it somehow. Recently I got a mint one CIB for $25 at a local store and have been playing Biomotor nonstop. I have been geeking so hard on it that I am getting a front light mod done to one so I can play it on the bus to work.

I recently have gotten more serious about my video game collecting and now I always have to find the rarest stuff. I found a set of ngpc wireless adapters for sale and am thinking about buying them. They are a little pricey but really cool considering they only work for one game that I know of and it's a Japanese release. :lol:

I was trying to find more info on them and that's how I came across this thread. Do you remember how much it sold for? I am just trying to get a feel for their prices so I know how bad I am going to get ripped and can't really find much info.

Unless the screen is scratched to hell, you did good.
