I thought it should be able to, and they thought about releasing an adapter, but never got around to it.

Come on. Be honest. We all know it's the only reason you want one.
Add:
2. Metroid Prime Trilogy
3. DKCR
4. Skyward Sword

... yeah that's about it.

The GC was greatness, so yeah that really is probably the #1 reason I want one so I can play those games looking fine and nice on the HDTV. Haha.

You should add New Super Mario Bros. Wii to that list. It totally plays like an old school 2D Super Mario Bros. game and is a ton of fun.

That's because the texture smoothing is a pretty well hidden option that you have to turn on manually every time you want to use it.

Indeed, it should have either been an option that saved on your memory card with the other system settings, or be like the progressive thing where you can hold a button as the game starts up.

Hmph. I still think the only "better" is the leap from GB to SP where the screen goes from monochrome spinach to backlit color.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Psst, there's an option to use fast loading for PS1 discs there too.

Be warned that that option does make a pretty good chunk of games glitch up.

Hmm, I guess I never played the 'right' games when I only had a PS2. Never noticed any problems.
