Wii Hacked, Nintendos Response?
Well the wii is now open for homebrew. What will nintendo do? Will they go and fight the hackers or will they endorse it, not officially, but just let it slide??

It's already been proven that the new update does not stop the hack and 'apparently' it is impossible to stop the hack as it exploits something in the code of twilight princess. They said that when the GTA Liberty City Stories hack came out for 2.5 PSPs but that eventually got fixed by Sony in firmware (they made rockstar patch the code in all future pressings of the game as soon as they found out but obviously the old copies were still exploitable). So it may be possible for Nintendo to patch the Wii.
BTW the update adds a little notification onto new discs saying that an update is available. (like for example the mandatory update on Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3). Other than that thats it really.
