Smile: I got my Speech done, and very well I might add, and then drank a very rewarding glass of red wine.

Ticked off: There was my ex, her new boy toy, my bed, and me threatening peoples long term health involved.

I love life
Why did Kevin Flynn blare Journey so loud in his arcade? Was he trying to hear it from the grid?

Jon Fitch vs BJ Penn went to a draw. Jon dominated the third round and should have pulled the trigger sooner. I knew he wouldn't have problems with BJ :x

Loved the sunglasses at the post-presser BJ

I'm not a fan of Jon Fitch at all. He is probably the most boring fighter to watch. I had Penn win round 1 and Fitch obviously won round 3. Round 2 was to close to call, but I am fine with the draw. I love BJ Penn so I'm glad he didn't lose the fight  . I underestimated Dennis Siver cause I thought George Sotiropoulos was going to walk all over this guy and that was the opposite of what happened.

If there is one person in MMA I absolutely hate, it is Michael Bisping. Dude is as cocky as they get. I give Rivera props for continuing the fight after Bisping landed that illegal knee. I hope Bisping gets Anderson Silva one day so that Silva will destroy him.

I'm a personal friend and student of Ralph Gracie, so there is no reason at all for me to have any interest in BJ Penn.

Also, Rivera was saying a lot of shit online not just about Bisping but also his family. Rivera had it coming, and the knee was definitely unintentional. He pulled the trigger too quickly. I know from firsthand jiujitsu training how easily you can mistakenly do something when your adrenaline gets going.

NES Frustrations Are Finally Over! Joy!

So I've had a helluva time with my NES. A few months back, I bought a new 72-Pin Connector for it. Looking back at my frustrations, I probably never should have. My NES wasn't all that bad, by the original deck's standards. It blinked a little, yeah, but it wasn't bad. But in my infinite wisdom, I decided to get a new 72-Pin Connector anyways thinking it might be even better.

Well when it came in the mail, I brought to a friend of mine who repairs consoles for a living to install it. Lo and behold, something must have went wrong in the installation or the connector itself damaged something. Because when I got my NES back, it was in worse condition than before, and now it blinked more. Not only did it blink more, but it blinked in multiple colors now. I just got frustrated and forgot about it for a while.

Well recently I got my tax-return money back. So I used some of it and took it to the professional electronics repair place in the area. It's a good 20 minutes away. Turns out it wasn't repairable, however he cut me a deal and traded the deck out for another one he had with a new 72-pin connector for $30. Sweet, right?

Well I get back home and it reads games just fine and dandy. But now there's a new problem. The audio buzzes loudly and there's a darkened-clearish bar running down the screen. So I call the guy, he tells me it sounds like electrical interference and to try different plug-in and make sure there isn't anything drawing a lot of power from the same line like a refrigerator. So I run around to the 3 different TVs in my place hooking the NES up with no luck.

Oh, did I forget to mention that I had to only work a half day today, so this is taking my planned free afternoon away, too? Yeah, that just added to this. And I was already at the post office twice that afternoon, whole other story.

So I call the guy again and tell him no luck. He tells me to take it down again and he'll check it out again. I do so, but when I get there the receptionist tells me to sit very bluntly. I'm like "Excuse me?" She proceeds to tell me "You're a side. He's at his REAL job right now." And points to the next door, which is an Optometrist Office. "So you're gonna have to wait." She says. Now everything is coming to head now. My entire free afternoon is blown, I've had to drive 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back twice (in addition to the post office twice), and now this receptionist is just blowing me off. I tell her "This is the second time I'm coming from the far end of Redding today, and I was told to come down." She just points again. It takes my all to just bite my tongue and sit-down.

But thank the Lord! I have my NES now, and it works, and I didn't blow-up. However, my afternoon is still down the crapper. Oh well, we'll call it a wash-out.

Ticked: Had to work a few hours Sunday and finally just got free for the day. Crap has hit the fan at work and I'm up to 21 hours already for the week, with me being a M-F worker.

Ticked: stupid kids jumped in front of my car at a cross walk without looking. I knew it was going to happen so I was already hovering above the brake pedal but still, stupid kids will be street pizza one day.
