A heart wrenching game trailer... with zombies.

This is the trailer for the upcoming zombie game Dead Island. It's surprisingly moving.



The game sounds interesting too. It's a first person game without guns. You're on an island resort and you just have to improvise with whatever is available in the environment and there's no reason for a resort to have rocket launchers and M16s lying around.

Zombie games are done to death. heh. How can will kill that which is already dead?

Yeah, I'm a bit burned out on how there is zombie everything. Every game seems to have a zombie mod and a zombie dlc and it was probably a zombie game to begin with. These zombie games are taking over like... well, zombies.

I have my doubts that this game can be anywhere near as good as this trailer. The trailer works well because of clever video editing technique and storytellihg, not because of gameplay. Nevertheless, a game without guns is a great idea. Not that it hasn't been done before, but it's an underutilized technique and it works really well in horror games. I'm willing to give the game a shot.
