Random Thoughts Thread
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
There's some sort of cosmic force in place that ensures whenever I get two Netflix movies in the mail at the same time, I invariably open the one I want to watch last first.

Whoa, you mean people still order Netflix DVDs? I thought that trend died out around the same time as silent film or homemade butter.Dylan wrote:There's some sort of cosmic force in place that ensures whenever I get two Netflix movies in the mail at the same time, I invariably open the one I want to watch last first.

I just don't wanna work today. I hate when I gotta work with people and I'm the only one keeping track of the schedule and I have to babysit them when that ain't my job especially how I'm not the senior employee.

Hoping for a snow day tomorrow. The temperature in my town has been consistently 33 degrees all day, just above freezing, so all we have been getting is very cold rain, when we should bet getting snow. All that needs to happen is the temperature to drop 1 degree. Yes, it is as excruciating as it sounds.

No, I still do it too. Netflix may have that instant streaming thing going on, but A: most of the best stuff is DVD-only, and B: my internet isn't fast enough for instant streaming. So I get plenty of DVDs from them in the mail.lisalover1 wrote:Whoa, you mean people still order Netflix DVDs? Yeah, I just can't find most of the titles I'm looking for on instant.BoringSupreez wrote:No, I still do it too. That's true; some of my favorite movies and TV shows (Forrest Gump, Secondhand Lions, almost every Studio Ghibli movie, Seinfeld, Corner Gas, The Drew Carey Show) are not available for streaming, which totally sucks.Dylan wrote: Yeah, I just can't find most of the titles I'm looking for on instant.
