Kirby
Directed By Michael Bay

Project K.I.R.B.Y. aka Kollagenic Infused Replication Being Version Y. has been created by a top secret military organization. It is a pinkish clear substance capable of taking on the traits of objects it absorbs. An alien force from space sector DDD attacks earth. The beings are capable of entering human minds during a dream state, this ability is known as. . . deception. . . and the beings deceive humans into thinking they are in. . . DREAMLAND. The military has no way of stopping this force, so the mind of hunky soldier, Rock Bruckner, is downloaded into K.I.R.B.Y. so that it can take on the powers of the aliens and save the earth. Which is about to be destroyed by a meteor. . . which is filled with nukes from a secret 1950s test program. If the meteor hits earth we won't just be destroyed, we'll be destroyed really really bad. And the solar system will explode. Into a black hole. WITHIN A BLACK HOLE.

I'm actually surprised that there hasn't been a "Legend of Zelda" movie by now. The fanbase is definitely there. The character and story is there. Just needs the right actors and a decent script.

"God of War" seems like an obvious choice. Lot's of blood and cool special effects is basically all you need to make it work.

"King of Fighters" might work. Even though most people aren't familiar with the series. If they made it similar in spirit to Bloodsport or the first Mortal Kombat movie, it could be good.

I'd say Pit-Fighter, but they pretty much already did...

Honestly, most games shouldn't be, because either there's so little plot in them anything based on it would be a very loose adaptation (Mario Bros, Doom), or they're basically movies anyways (Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted).

Even those that are pretty much movies get utterly butchered, Max Payne is a perfect example.

I had finished expunging that movie from my brain. Now I have to chug down sixteen more liters of absinthe to do it again. Thanks.
