Hey cool project.
I was thinking about painting a couple SNES system I have that I got fairly cheap but they're yellowed and chipped. Was thinking about a custom NES style paint job. I did a really quick & ugly mock up in Photoshop. Let me know what you think of the potential layout!
After seeing this I might use Krylon for my SNES also....

I think that would look cool without the black stripe. I know you're going for the original NES look. I don't know, maybe it'll look nice on the real thing. Don't ask me, I am not expert, haha.


Anyhoo, thanks guys for the comments. I'll consider this a fluke and I probably won't paint another console unless it's really yellow.
