I bought Illusion of Gaia for $5. I also bought WWF WrestleMania The Arcade Game (SNES) for $5. I'm probably the only person in the world who would be psyched to get WrestleMania for $5 but I love this stupid game to death.
I also found a loose GameCube. I dug around and found the ac adaptor but no AV cord. Thank you Nintendo for using the same AV cord as the N64. The GameCube has the GameBoy Player attached to it and works great so far. Total cost: $4.00
Gaming accomplishments: Nibbler (marathon): 251,169,160 / Nibbler (one life): 5,263,360 (WR) Donkey Kong: 423,100 [L12-1] (150th place as of 2019-01-15) Super Smash Bros. (N64): Ranked top 5 in Wisconsin from Q1 2016 to Q2 2017 Shrek SuperSlam: won largest tournament in game's history (Shrekfest 2018)
Took the guy over 2 months and one extra juicy threatening (popful) email (including broken body parts) from my side to send the games. Two days after that mail the games arrived, 2-day priority shipping from Holland to Belgium...
Almost passed by Goodwill on my way home from lunch earlier, I had been there a few days ago and scored a Genesis model 2 AC adapter... whoop de do. But fate pulled me in today and was kind. For the first time ever there were honest to goodness game cartridges among the cassette tapes and that PS2 copy of Tiger Woods '03 no one is ever going to buy. I scored:
Zelda games A Link to the Past and Majora's Mask (with a lenticular game label, is that special?) And 6 NES games: TMNT TMNT the arcade game Captain Skyhawk Kirby's Adventure Snakes Revenge Adventure Island II
All loose for $16. Best part is i've not played most of them before. Had TMNT back in the day, beat LttP in the 90's, and have Kirby on the VC, everything else is new to me.
