Gamestop still has the best prices for used stuff, I'll buy as long as I can get a complete game. But its fading fast and I don't like the idea of the biggest store in the field destroying Retro games.
Think about when the next generation consoles comes out in a few years. If noone complains through the Gamestop sales receipt surveys or a petition, the same can happen to the current generation used games. Speak up now, corporate fixes usually take time.
After verifying a PS2 game in stock, I should ask that sales associate get me the game from that dog pile of yellow envelopes on a busy Saturday.

Likewise. Hey man, I tell it like I see it. Let's agree on one thing: A petition to GameStop has VERY little chance of actually getting them to change their practice. Sending them a link to a forum where members are pouting things like "i fucking hate gmae stop they do shit that i dont like and i dont like them cause of it" will just NOT be a good idea. Their likely to NOT even read it, and completely disregard it. If we want to send them a message, it is very important that they realize we're not just a small percentage of idiots will low IQs. Sending the message politely, and wording it almost strategically, is very important. Cursing at them, we'll just be written of as unimportant idiots. This is just the way the world works.
Let's get one thing clear: I have no problem with curse words. I'm not uptight like that or anything. But when I get over charged in the department store, I'm not at the counter shouting, "You fucking rung me up wrong! You need to fix this shit. You're a bunch of fuck mooks and I'm gonna stop shopping here unless you fix this God damn problem!" I can't see how any one would be willing to help me. Ten times out of ten, if I go up to the counter and politely request that the error be corrected, it gets corrected. People tend to mirror emotions in their response to some one. If some one walks up to you on the street and says, "Excuse me, do you have the time?" You'll be like, "Why yes, it's 2:34" but if they came up to you with an attitude and said "Hey, shit-for-brains, tell me the fucking time!" You'd be like, "Go to hell you thunder-cunt!" This logic can be applied to any imaginary situation you can think up, and I'm pretty sure it can be applied to petition a big company like GameStop as well.
Perfect example of this: I once wrote a letter to Dell, a huge company that is as big if not bigger than GameStop. In this letter, I explained that I have been a happy Dell customer for a number of years and would recommend the brand to people. But I have had massive problems with a few products in the recent years. Products that were out of warranty. I requested that my problems be fixed, otherwise I would have to stop buying Dell and no longer recommend them. I worded the letter very politely, even though I was pretty angry. I made sure to word it in such a way that I was conveyed as an intelligent person who contributes to society. And even though my warranty was expired, I actually got an email (I provided them my email address) from Dell looking to fix the problem. I'm willing to bet anything that if I let my emotions into the letter and cursed them to hell, I wouldn't have ever got a response from them. And you can bet your ass that this will be the same, exactly, 1:1, for petitioning GameStop.
It's not anything deep or complicated to understand, this is just the way the world works. There's so much more I could say, but I'm kinda tired and I feel like I'm about to get redundant with my point.

It is entirely possible to write a idiotic angry mess of a letter to a company and not use a single curse word. It is also entirely possible have a smart, well written letter that does use curse words.
Curse words are words. It's foolish and illogical to group all words into the categories of "good" and "bad" and not pay attention to context and intent.
Which one of the following examples is good and which one is bad:
"Fuck, I stubbed my toe!"
"All black people are bad."
So basically, I hate to see people blindly thinking what others have told them to think (curse words are bad, regardless of context), and not thinking for themselves and coming to the realization that words themselves are never bad. They are merely tools to convey a message, which can be either good or bad.

It was suggesting that THIS THREAD be sent to GameStop. This thread contains many harsh comments with profanities. This is not a good way to approach some one with a request. If you can't wrap your head around this, then we're done here.
