I checked out Nickel City about a month ago with a friend, and it's back to normal now. Some machines still had issues, but most of them were up and running.

Basically, if you are a big Rhythm game or Fighting game fan, it's great. If you get a bit bored by those (like I do; dammit I need shmups!) then it kinda sucks. They have some lame touchscreen games, and a Neo Geo cab with a broken 1p joystick, along with a couple lightgun games. Basically though, the whole place is devoted to rhythm and fighting games, with not a lot of variety. It's fun, but just not for extended periods of time. Unless you're a Technika addict like my friends are.

Sweet. As long as I would be able to get my classic fix (and my 2P Rampart fix :)) whenever I go there, that's all that counts. I'm good with Nickel City as the backup place. Any other takers?
What a maneuver!
