Re: Bay Area, CA Racketboy member's meet up - March Madness
i actually found a "small" arcade place while i was wondering around yesterday during my day off. it's inside the mall though. they have a number of fighting cabs such as SVC, CVS, Tekken, SF3, Guilty Gear XX. i also saw Sega GT, Halo (4 player), and the usual DDR and Guitar Heroes. However it's located in Fairfield. i'm assuming it will be a too far drive for most of you. it's also near Scandia. i remember they have many old and new arcade cabs there years ago (and kart racing). not sure about now..

I'm down to go anywhere. I just hope whatever place we go to will have classic arcade cabs like the "Classic Corner" in Santa Cruz.

Yeah but he said might. We should come up with a backup place just in case.sevin0seven wrote:i believe ApolloBoy is volunteering to host at his place...

100th post milestone already?
Lol. Well the only arcades I know nearby is Nickel City (it's close to me and Apolloboy) and Dave & Busters though we already talked about how most of the games there are redemption games. Then there's the Santa Cruz Boardwalk arcade but I'm not sure how far that is from everyone else. I know it's almost an hour away for me. The boardwalk has a variety of games and so does Nickel City. Perhaps Apollo or I will scope out Nickel City sometime to see how it is now. It's been about 2 years since I've been there ever since I moved to the other side of San Jose.

i would stick between Nickel City and Dave & Busters. let us know how the scoping of Nickel City turns out and well try to get a vote for the back up or the next place to meet up for March. should be fun either way.arnold_the_bartender wrote:100th post milestone already?Lol.
