anyone else get annoyed with the bars on the sides of their tv and swap the display so they play as side scrolling instead ?

It's not the bars that annoy me, it's the fact that you don't have as much space!

I NEED a rotating TV!

I just set the screen to be rotated, and lay on my side...

Naw, they don't bother me too much. I just expand it as much as possible and it seems to work fine. If i did have a rotating tv, that would be sweet.

After playing ghetto tate (lying on my side) for a while, I find it difficult to walk around after. My head keeps tilting to the side!

I like the black bars...it lets me know I'm getting everything on the screen...and I just sit a little closer...which is easier on the eyes with a monitor or HDTV, I find.

I still want to have a dedicated rotated screen for shooters though!

It would be cool to use a projector and just turn it side ways. Imagine your whole wall being a rain of bullets and ships to blast. On second thought, this may induce Post Traumatic Stress Disorder...

oh man, how much i wish for a wall mount that can swing to 90 degrees

but then i have the small problem of it being in a corner (so i can't flush it) and above a fireplace with no room to swing it anyways :(

I remember they had computer monitors at my high school that could flip 90 degress. Just gotta find a big ol' LCD that will work the same way.
