Ever had a friend that "made it big?"

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Why? The Keiths lived down the street from me. I was friends with his older brother, but since they are family friends with my family we hung out quite a bit; camping, Christmas Day hockey games, Boxing Day (day after Christmas) lunch, judo, baseball, soccer, each others houses, my mom babysat them sometimes, etc. Just normal friend/family friend stuff. There was a rink across from my house, so we played there most days in the winter. His dad coached hockey when we were kids, so between him and some other dads I learned how to play hockey. Obviously Duncan got a lot better then me eventually. I stopped playing (except for fun) after elementary school.

I haven't actually seen the guy since we were kids, but my parents still get Christmas cards from his parents. The photos they sent this year were obviously pretty cool.

I went to the same high school as Pronger, but never met him until he was already playing for the Blues. I've hung out with his older brother a little bit before.

usually after I show somebody a Keith Apicary video for the first time I say "he reads my blog." So I guess that makes us friends. :|
